Professional Profile
Dr. Patterson joined the Paul and Virginia Engler College of Business in 2010. She received a B.B.A. in Financial Management from the University of New Mexico in 1998 and a J.D. from the University of New Mexico in 2002. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2002. She was named the Patterson Professor of Business Law in 2013.
Teaching and Related Service
Dr. Patterson teaches business law, healthcare law, and legal issues in gift and estate planning in the Paul and Virginia Engler College of Business.
Research and Creative Activity
Dr. Patterson’s areas of research interest include gift, estate, and trust issues.
Personal Sketch
Dr. Patterson lives in Canyon, is married, and has four children. She enjoys following her children to various activities, watching sports, and playing golf.
