Although students are the focus for a student center, other populations of the West Texas A&M University community also share in the enjoyment of the Jack B. Kelley Student Center (JBK). The renovated 55,500-square-foot complex, formerly the Administration Building, was reopened in October 1989 as our student center.
The centrally located facility houses the information desk, bookstore, post office, student services offices, meeting and conference rooms, food courts, campus organization center, study lounge, and lockers. Whether looking for a rest stop between classes, a blazing fire to take away the winter sting, a place for formal dinners or between-meal snacks, or a site for dances or celebrations, the JBK is the source of campus pride for WTAMU students.
Supported by a generous endowment from the Jack B. Kelley family for the enhancement of the facility, the JBK will remain a source of pride for many years to come.
