Grievance Procedures Major in Communication Disorders (Major Code: 240) The American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), in order to certify and provide professional speech and hearing services, requires a master’s degree in communication disorders. WTAMU’s Communication Disorders Program is nationally accredited through ASHA. For information about the master of science (M.S.) degree, refer to the “Graduate School” section of the catalog.
